This is a band I recently stumbled upon. Dawes is a band from North Hills, California. Their most recent album, North Hills, is well over a year old. I wish I had found them well before this, but what's good is there is hope for a new album soon. They bring an Eagles-ish, southern, indie/folk rock to a music scene that lacks this easy going, classic sound. I'll let their music speak for the rest of this blog.
